Admin kills your passion for training.

You became a PT to help people — not to spend hours in Excel and Word.

🧾

Invoice chaos

Word templates, wrong VAT rates, no QR code. It takes forever and the fiduciary still looks askance.

💸

Painful follow-up

Clients forget to pay. You have to ask personally via WhatsApp. Uncomfortable every time.

📱

Too many tools

PDFs here, WhatsApp there, Notion somewhere. Nothing talks to each other and your clients are confused.

QR bill: what Swiss freelancers need to know

March 15, 2025 · 5 min read

Since October 1, 2022, the QR bill has been the only permitted payment slip in Switzerland. The old red and orange slips were discontinued.

What exactly is a QR bill?

The QR bill has two parts: the invoice section with all relevant information and the payment section with a QR code. Clients scan it in e-banking, and the fields are filled automatically.

Trevia generates the QR bill automatically

Always aligned with the latest Swiss standard, with no manual work on your side.

Swiss VAT for personal trainers: a complete guide

March 2, 2025 · 7 min read

Swiss VAT can feel overwhelming for freelancers. When are you liable? What has to be listed on the invoice? This guide answers the key questions in plain English.

When do you become VAT liable?

As a personal trainer in Switzerland, you become VAT liable as soon as your annual turnover exceeds CHF 100,000. Until then, VAT registration is voluntary.

Trevia fills in every required field automatically

You enter the amount and the software handles the rest.
